Soprano Laura Strickling Receives GRAMMY® Award Nomination for “40@40”
Soprano Laura Strickling was nominated for Best Classical Vocal Album for her album 40@40, the first installation of world-premiere recordings of art songs commissioned by the singer. Ms. Strickling notes: "These twenty songs, from composers and poets of diverse backgrounds, are exceptional in their beauty, depth, quality, and range of emotional expression." Laura releases 40@40 in collaboration with acclaimed pianist Daniel Schlosberg to further the advancement of modern art song in celebration of her 40th birthday.
Over Under: Fein’s Debut Album Released

Fairfield County Chorale 2023-24 Season to Feature Premiere by Fein
The Fairfield County Chorale has announced its 2023-24 season:
Performance Date: March 9, 2024: Palmieri’s “Missa a Buenos Aires” also known as “MisaTango” with mezzo-soprano Malena Dayen as the soloist. The concert will also include music by Ola Giejlo and Evan Fein.
Fein Wins American Prize 2022
Fein was named the winner of the 2022 American Prize for Composition for his art song “Greenport, Long Island: A Socially-Distanced Diva” - the work had previously won the 2021 NYC songSLAM competition, hosted by the leading art song advocacy organization Sparks & Wiry Cries, where it was performed by the composer in collaboration with soprano April Martin.
