Schubert in His Own Words: Corey Shotwell & Gerardo Teissonnière in Recital at CIM

Acclaimed tenor Corey Shotwell and Steinway-artist Gerardo Teissonnière appear in recital at CIM for a performance of Schubert’s shattering song cycle Winterreise. This performance will feature the World Première of Evan Fein’s song “Letzte Brief,” a setting of Schubert’s final letter, written only days before his death at age 31.  Conceived as an overture to Winterreise, the song will segue directly into “Gute Nacht,” the first Lied in Schubert’s cycle.
